Daktronics Announces 5-year Service Plan

Brookings, S.D. ­ April 26, 2004 - Daktronics, Inc. (Nasdaq DAKT) of Brookings, S.D. recently announced the release of its 5-year Silver Service Plan to customers. Beginning May 1, 2004, all Daktronics Galaxy®, DataTime® and DataMaster™ product lines will be included in the 5-Year Silver Service Plan.

Our new 5-year Silver Service Plan provides a tremendous benefit for our electronic message display customers.”

The Daktronics Galaxy® line includes a variety of full-matrix displays capable of displaying text, graphics and animation in monochrome red and amber or full-color in red, green and blue. The DataTime® product line include time and temperature and digit-based displays in various character sizes in monochrome red and amber, while the DataMaster™ lines features rate, gas price, parking, lottery and event counter displays in monochrome red and amber.
