C. Edward Koch Joins Trans-Lux West as National Sales Manager

DES MOINES, IOWA - Trans-Lux West today announced the appointment of C. Edward Koch as national sales manager for the Company’s commercial display division. Koch will manage the Trans-Lux West sales group and help expand its re-seller network for the Company’s product line of commercial LED (light emitting diode) display systems. He will be based at Trans-Lux West division headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa.

“By offering both indoor and outdoor electronic signage to our customers, Trans-Lux West is one of the few manufacturers with the capability to create a total solution in display communications,” Koch said. “We distribute our products through a network of local sign companies—and I’m here to help spread the word about the advantages of choosing Trans-Lux for LED signage.”

Koch, most recently a regional sales manager for Electronic Data Systems (EDS), joins Trans-Lux West with more than 15 years of executive-level experience in the commercial sign industry. His additional management experience in newspaper media and four-color printing and production complement the company’s vision of communication using the light, color and motion of full-, tri- and single-color LED displays to enhance business communications.

A native Iowan, Koch holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Iowa.
