Delcam Appoints New North American Sales Manager

Delcam International is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Plunkett, as the new ArtCAM North American Sales Manager. His responsibilities include sales, the management of distribution channels and product support throughout North America, for Delcam’s product ArtCAM; an unique software program for 3D modelling and CNC machining, which allows you to create high quality products from 2D artwork.

Sean brings to the position a well-established knowledge of CADCAM software from working in the manufacturing industry as a mold maker before joining Delcam in 1999. After starting with the company as an Applications Engineer for ArtCAM support in North America Sean moved to Delcam’s headquarters in Birmingham, UK, where he worked for the International Support Team on all the Delcam software products.

Over the years Sean has worked with clients both large and small in a range of industries including footwear, coin manufacture, signmaking, woodworking, toys and gift production. Sean also has extensive knowledge of CNC programming in education, having written a curriculum for an ArtCAM course and working knowledge of CNC machining through close working relationships with many different router companies such as Camtech Industries, MultiCAM, Flexicam, Shopbot Tools and Thermwood.
