'Become an Onyx® Expert' Training To Be Held in 12 North American Cities
MIDVALE, UT -- This summer, Onyx Graphics, in a continued effort to help customers make the most of the Onyx software RIP, is partnering with the Graphic Intelligence Agency (GIA) to offer a full day of RIP training in 12 North American cities. GIA, the leading provider of training and support in the visual communications industry, will be holding one-day seminars to help users of Onyx PosterShop® and Onyx ProductionHouse software packages maximize their workflow efficiency and get the best possible color output.
The training will cover the following topics:
- Optimize Onyx software and PC hardware for the fastest possible performance, including multiple RIP and dual-processor configurations
- Set up multiple printers, quick sets and placement strategies to create a clean workflow
- Handle color management from start to finish, ensure files are set up correctly and use and calibrate Onyx built-in profiles
- Use Onyx Media Manager and Profile Generator to create ink restrictions, ink limits, linearizations, and ICC profiles for ink and media to achieve the best possible color
- Learn new features for contour cutting
