Vastex Addresses Multicolor Screen Setup

Allentown, PA -- Vastex International offers a Pin Registration System that provides a swift and accurate solution for all screen printers working with multicolor designs.

One of the most difficult and time-consuming tasks a screen printer faces on a daily basis is getting their multicolor designs in alignment (known as registration). Depending on the design and the number of colors involved, this task alone can easily take an hour or more in setup time. Time that can be better spent actually producing shirts!

The Universal Pin Registration System from Vastex is designed to work with all brands of presses or exposing units and supports wood, aluminum or retentionable screens so no modifications are needed to existing screen inventory.

The Pinboard, where your actual alignment takes place, features a Positioning Grid, which simulates a garment in position on your pallets. Now, right on the layout board, you are positioning the artwork exactly where it will fall on the shirt and on the screen! This eliminates all guesswork and makes screen setup a breeze for anyone!

What pulls it all together is the Screen Locator Pallet Jig, which works on any rear-clamp, manual press. After the screen is exposed, it is positioned on the Screen Locator Pallet Jig, which is fastened to the pallet. The rear clamps are then tightened and you are ready to print! Multicolor setups can now be done in minutes even for the novice! A live animation of how the Vastex VRS Pin Registration System works is available at www.vastex.com.
