CRS Intl. Offers Polyester Screen Ink

This versatile 76000 series polyester screen ink is available from CRS International. The 76000 series allows you to use only one ink for a wide variety of screen printing applications such as treated and untreated polyesters (brushed polyester, chrome polyester, velvet polyester), polycarbonate (LEXAN), phenolic, and vinyl. The 76000 series has been tested and certified for more than two years in South Florida and Arizona under all weather conditions for color fastness and durability. The testing was done by members of the automobile industry on membrane switches. It also is designed for printing P-O-P displays, signage, industrial applications, and more. According to the manufacturer, the ink provides superior adhesion to a variety of substrates from paper to hard-to-print plastics. It also has excellent print resolution, reliable print durability for indoor and outdoor exposure, good screenability, and a mild odor.

It comes in opaque and transparent colors and all colors are formulated using nonleaded pigments. It dries by evaporation. It is estimated to air dry in 20 to 40 minutes or jet dry in 10-15 seconds at 140 to 160 degrees F.
