Roland Introduces New HeatWave Sublimation System

Irvine, CA - With the release of Roland's new HeatWave sublimation system, it is now easier than ever to expand your shop's services to existing customers and break into new markets at the same time.

Roland has brought together the power and versatility of its popular VersaCAMM SP-300, a 30-inch printer/cutter with a complete line of sublimation inkjet inks and carrier paper that can create graphics for a comprehensive line of products that span a broad range of niches. Imagine having the capability to do T-shirts, athletic apparel, tote bags, caps, mouse pads, mugs, tile murals, message boards, award plaques, flags, coasters, decorative boxes, license plates, and much more with just one machine and a heat press. You can even do banners measuring 30 inches by any length!

The wider output of the VersaCAMM is just one feature that makes it stand apart from other traditional desktop digital systems. It is not only an inkjet printer, it's a high-speed, professional, roll-fed cutter that allows you to cut all the popular heat transfer materials designed for textile decoration, or cut vinyl for large signage, window decals, tile murals and vehicle graphics. Create multicolor effects by using the system's cutting capabilities to layer colors of vinyl or use the sophisticated contour cut capabilities of the VersaCAMM to create complex, detailed shapes from pre-printed graphics. Reach out to complementary markets such as promotional products, gift and souvenirs, photography, home decorating, and trophy and awards by offering personalized products with low minimums and fast turnaround. With the versatility of the HeatWave system, you'll be able to meet all of your customer's needs for add-on items and be able to accommodate special requests that weren't possible before.

Roland is offering its HeatWave system as a complete sublimation solution with the VersaCAMM SP-300. By purchasing the complete HeatWave system, you have the fullest confidence that the paper and the inkjet cartridges have been tested and profiled to work specifically with the VersaCAMM. The new line features the best available color technology along with vibrant color and durability. With the system's powerful RIP and software, transfers can be nested to reduce wasted media and sheet cut for easy application.

The HeatWave sublimation system will be available through Roland's nationwide network of distributors. For more information about HeatWave or to find the distributor nearest you, contact Roland at 800-542-2307; e-mail: sales@rolanddga.com or visit the Web site at www.rolanddga.com/wave.
