Digital Media Creation Revolution

Displaying digital messages into a commercial environment is a powerful and direct way to get information to public places at the point of sale. In today’s time the technology is easily available with wireless network connections, beautiful plasma screens, interactive kiosks, projectors, and a wide range of content players and management software. The question lies in where or how do we supply fresh and affordable content to the current networks.

Until recently the way of producing content was done in one of two ways. The simplest way for a business to create content for digital signage was to contact an advertising agency and have them create the desired project. This is a great way to get fresh media and professional looking advertisements, though there are a few drawbacks to this method. Advertising agencies can be very expensive, impersonal, and can be a lengthy process. They are great for large-scale businesses with large budgets. The other method used to generate content is by using programs supplied by the network distributor or signage companies to create the content using these interactive programs. The problem with this method is that they often require a powerful personal computer to run properly and the learning curve is very high, especially when editing or creating motion type of content. Even though creating the content on your own may be the fastest process, this is not the efficient solution to content creation. We are still turning restaurant owners and other unrelated business professionals into video editors and producers. The process can also be expensive when adding up the equipment and software costs. Taking all the factors into consideration, it is a more cost-effective and less time consuming process of creating media yourself then using an advertising agency.

Titanium Graphics has developed Digital Media Creation Gateway (DMC Gateway) to create a solution for the digital signage industry problem. We believe it will bridge the gap between the availability of new content creation and the digital signage businesses. Any business owner who is in need of digital media, whether it be a 30 second digital signage advertisement, a 5 minute company tutorial, or something as simple as resizing a poster for a specific size, DMCGatway.com has artists of all calibers ready to bid on the project small or large. Features like setting the budget and deadline for the project, will allow them to get the most out of their project, have it completed on time and still be cost effective.

DMC Gateway is an international marketplace for digital media creation set in an auction type environment. The media creation projects are auctioned to a pool of artists from around the world ensuring that the business owners have access to the best possible price for professionally created media.
