Presented by Mike Mesi, MLM Custom Sign Services,
Ltd.
Saturday, January 29, 2005
9:30 a.m. – 12:30

Working at elevations is a mainstay in the sign industry. Using
cranes and aerial lifts present risks of falls as well as losing
a load. We are all well aware of the cost of losing a person or
a load. This seminar will cover the safe use and set-up of your
equipment, rigging, fall protection requirements and an overview
of OSHA standards as they relate to the sign industry. Participants
will have the opportunity to determine rigging requirements, read charts, and
interpret regulations. There will be outside practical activities following
the class discussions to demonstrate the theories of safe rigging and crane
