Tailored Solutions Expands Multiple Plant Capability

Milwaukee, WI - All Tailored Solutions software—Label Traxx™ for flexographic narrow web converters and printers, and Litho Traxx™ for sheetfed lithographic printers and prepress trade shops—now includes additional capability to monitor operations at multiple plants. With the new feature, printers with remote operations or multiple plants simply install Tailored Solutions software at each location. Transactions are automatically coded to the appropriate location, and information such as inventory values, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries are also attributed to the proper site. Financial information may be consolidated by transmitting information to the Tailored Solutions Financial Center module, using an encrypted SOAP protocol. With this powerful new feature, Tailored Solutions customers with more than one production facility can compare affiliate performance for any given time period. Combined balance sheets and income statements may be easily prepared, as may financial statements for individual locations.

Discussing the availability of the new Tailored Solutions Financial Center module, Tailored Solutions vice-president of sales and marketing Luther Erlund commented: “In an era of consolidation and partnering, the ability to consolidate information in a print business management system is critical.
