Roland Drops Price on Desktop Vinyl Cutter

LAKE FOREST, CA - Roland ASD today announced that it has lowered the price of its CX-24 desktop vinyl cutter by $400. The CX-24 is renowned for its reliability and precision.

“Roland vinyl cutters are the work horses of the sign making industry, and with this new price on the CX-24, we made it possible for more sign makers to buy one,” said Gerald Hiller, Roland ASD general manager. “You can count on these machines to keep your business up and running year after year.”

In the past 15 years, Roland has sold more than 60,000 vinyl cutters worldwide. Most of them are still in production today. Modern Image of Huntington Beach, CA still uses a Roland vinyl cutter that it purchased more than a decade ago. “It runs all day, everyday and has never needed a single repair,” said Robert Wilson, Modern Image president. “Today, we have seven Roland’s lined up and cranking out awesome vehicle graphics.”

The Roland CX-24 offers high-speed, accurate vinyl cutting. Its advanced curve-smoothing technology allows precise cutting at speeds up to 15.75 inches per second. The CX-24 will cut a wide variety of industry-standard materials up to 24 inches wide, including vinyl, paint mask, reflective vinyls and sandblast.

Roland vinyl cutters also include the CX PRO Series. Powered by a digitally controlled servomotor, these wide format cutters produce exceptional graphics with speed and precision. They are available in three models ­ the 30-inch CX-300, the 40-inch CX-400, the 50-inch CX-500. Roland STIKA Series vinyl cutters offer an affordable, out-of-the-box solution for producing vinyl graphics. They come in 8-, 12- and 15-inch models.
