Mutoh America Partners with PAT Technology Systems Inc. to Provide Customers with New Solution for Reducing Solvent Ink
Phoenix, Arizona, March 7, 2005 - Mutoh America Inc., a
worldwide leader and manufacturer of large format commercial inkjet
printers, announces a new partnership with PAT Technology Systems Inc. for
the distribution of the Captivair filtration system. The Captivair
filtration system is a unique, Mutoh specific process that captures and
absorbs solvent ink fumes and odors creating a safer, cleaner work
environment for Mutoh customers. The Captivair system is designed to fit the
Toucan, Toucan LT, Toucan Hybrid and the Falcon II Outdoor series of
printers.
“Inkjet solvent fumes are an industry wide problem,” said Mutoh America’s
Director of Sales, Randy Rickert. “We are extremely happy to now offer a
solution to our customers that creates an even safer work environment.”
The custom designed Captivair filtration system rolls into place over the
work surface allowing it to capture and absorb harmful fumes (VOC’s)
directly at the source of the printer. The Captivair’s clear view hood
allows for an unobstructed view of work in progress and can easily be
rotated to ensure an unhindered production flow. With a footprint of only
25” x 25.2” x 16” the Captivair’s filtration unit is whisper quiet and
efficient with low energy consumption. It also eliminates the need for
exterior ventilation systems, thus providing additional savings by reducing
the heating and cooling costs incurred to replace exhausted air.
