Scitex Vision To Demonstrate Innovative Products For The First Time In The USA

Netanya, Israel - Scitex Vision, a global leader in industrial digital printing systems and manufacturer of innovative inkjet systems for high quality color printing, will be showing three of its innovative printers at the ISA show, March 31 ­ April 2, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Receiving its first American showing is the Scitex Vision VEEjet+, a revolutionary wide format flatbed printer. Also on show will be the XLjet 5+ and XLjet 3 meter high quality, super-wide format printers. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to see these versatile products in action and find out what they can offer their businesses.

Flatbed versatility
Based on the popular VEEjet printer, the Scitex Vision VEEjet+ offers state-of-the-art software and a user-friendly, intuitive graphic user interface. New features ensure that users maximize throughput through the ability to load a job while the previous one is still printing. Significantly, the VEEjet+ uses a new generation of environmentally friendly, UV curable inks to ensure top quality printed results. The new VisionInk UV200 Supreme range of inks has been specifically developed for the VEEjet+ and offers higher ink flexibility than ever before, allowing users to cut and fold products post-print.

Furthermore, the VEEjet+ now offers pin positioning, enabling faster and more accurate job set up, as well as allowing easier media handling and double sided printing. The VEEjet+ can print on materials of any type up to 2 x 3 metres/78.7” x 118” in size and in thicknesses up to 4cm/1.5 inches. Print quality up to a resolution of 720 dpi with output speeds of up to 36sqm/ 387 sqft per hour makes it ideally suited to the production of P.O.P./P.O.S. displays, in-store advertisements, indoor and outdoor signage, construction signage, museums, interior design, visitor centers, exhibitions and more. This presents practically unlimited business opportunities for companies, allowing their customers to take advantage of the possibilities offered by short run personalization, achievable through using UV curable inks in digital printing.

Super-wide success
The Scitex Vision XLjet is the most established super-wide format system in today’s market. The XLjet product line is the ideal production system for indoor and outdoor super-wide format applications. The Scitex Vision XLjet is offered in three widths ­ 7’, 10’ and 16’, with the option to switch between 4, 6 and 8 colors. The Scitex Vision XLjet+ supports backlit and double-sided printing with pinpoint registration, while its ability to print on a wide variety of substrates (including flex, banner, canvas, mesh, Tyvek™, textiles, paper and vinyl), makes applications such as billboards, floor and window graphics, textiles (including carpets) and vehicle wraps particularly suitable.
