The “Copy” range
This range is made of an integrated desktop for Scan-to-Print and File-to-Print. Based on an architecture created for the processing of very large files, it is the perfect answer to the productivity constraints of photo labs, architects or communication agencies. The “Copy” range takes full advantage of the Caldera know-how in color management. Anybody can easily use the color management features in CopySHOP. No training is needed. The “Copy” range has in standard a “Step&Repeat” function allowing to duplicate a print while optimizing the space on the paper. The prints are automatically organized to avoid media wastage.

The “Visual” range: a series of professional large format printing servers for the processing of color productions VisualRIP is a client / server solution for processing and large format color printing. VisualRIP is multi-task and multi-peripheral and can handle and process data from all platforms and all types of graphic applications. VisualRIP contains in standard a PostScript/PDF and a Tiff-IT RIP engine as well as the reading, the visualisation and the edition of Spot Colors embedded in EPS files, for a perfect restitution on every printer.

VisualRIP+ allows to use tiling and nesting features. VisualRIP+ also offers task automation with workflow and hotfolders.

The Caldera Graphics solutions are shipped with hundreds of ICC profiles in standard. Each peripheral can be characterized by an ICC profile. The «Visual» range is open and is able to import a profile and to recognize profiles for most branded media.

EasyMedia You’ve got questions, we’ve got colours !

EasyMedia is the first system including both software and GretagMacbeth Eye-One spectrophotometer (in option), providing a complete solution for ICC color profiling. Open and powerful, EasyMedia is built on an intuitive “wizard”, on the Print-Measure-Build process. EasyMedia manages all the printers supported by Caldera Graphics (Dye, Pigment, Ecolsolvent, Solvent, UV-curing) and the user has the possibility to set many parameters such as the transition between inks (light and medium), the linearization or the ink limit. In addition, standard profiles can be imported easily and be modified. The system also offers pre-defined printable targets that can be printed directly from the system to avoid mistakes.

The new Version 7 features VisualCUT
Caldera Graphics is now skilled to drive cutters and offers a complete Print-to-Cut workflow.

Users can process all their jobs with the same solution, from the scanning to the printing and the finishing of the document. Even the saving can be processed with the Caldera Collection web-connected image database ! This tool is ideal for screen printers, visual communication, sign.

The combination of printing and cutting tools drastically improves production speed and ease of use.

A unique automatic code bar recognition tool
Users can print the job the way they want and the cutter automatically recognises where to cut, thanks to 4 code bars automatically inserted in on every job. No matter how the paper is placed in the cutter, the top, bottom and the sides of the papers are recognised by VisualCUT through a code bar scanner !

This is very useful to print and cut big series and to get even more productivity.

Nest-O-Matik (or automatic overlap)
This "auto nesting" is a function allowing automatic page setting for a maximum of effectiveness. In the spooler, a thumbnail offers a preview so that the user can have a visual feedback. This remains in the philosophy of Caldera Graphics: the user SEES what he’s doing. It allows to limit the paper loss by automating large volumes of production.

RIP while RIP is a very new functionality allowing the printing and the RIPing of data simultaneously. Thanks to the increased effectiveness ensured by “RIP while RIP”, the user benefits from an uninterrupted processing capacity and an unlimited productivity.

In addition, Caldera Graphics RIPs include powerful features such as the very appreciated CostProof option which is ideal to calculate the cost of a print before printing it... Caldera Graphics is the only RIP editor to offer such a powerful functionality.
