Onyx Graphics Workflow Software Achieves SWOP® Certification
SALT LAKE CITY -- Onyx Graphics today announced it was
granted SWOP certification for the company¹s line of workflow software
products including the popular Onyx ProductionHouseTM and award-winning Onyx
PosterShop® packages. The certification is awarded by SWOP (Specifications
Web Offset Publications), Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to
improving the quality of publication printing by establishing color printing
specifications for use by advertising agencies, publishers, printers and
service bureaus.
"Onyx Graphics products have always offered the highest level of color
accuracy and consistency through our ICC-compliant media profiles and Media
Manager and Profile Generator modules," said Dean Derhak, Product Manager

that meet the SWOP standard used throughout the printing industry."
To achieve SWOP certification, manufacturers must submit a SWOP Application
Data Sheet and representative proofs. SWOP representatives check the proof
for quantitative conformance, and the proof is either accepted or rejected.
Accepted submissions are awarded SWOP certification.
