Accent Signage Now Offers Digital Printing Option for the Background of Raster™ Braille / Tactile Signs

Accent Signage Systems, Inc., Minneapolis, MN, has recently added digital printing as an imaging option for its sign and badge products, thus allowing 6-color and white UV ink to be printed as a background for tactile signage.

This new technology allows for a 1200 x 2400 dpi image to be printed directly onto most rigid or flexible substrates including vinyl, acrylic, copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, glass, woods, tiles and stones.

The printing process uses UV-cured ink for stable colors. A unique feature of this process is the use of white ink, a process never before available, which allows for a wider range of design possibilities.

Digitally printed signs are compatible with the Accent’s RasterTM Method of Braille and are ADA compliant.
