Adobe Illustrator CS2 Presents New Features
Artists who love illustration will be able to rediscover its joys by Adobe Illustrator CS2 software. Adobe Systems Incorporated released the new features to be found in this integrated vector graphics software program. - Colorized grayscale this allows users to assign a spot color to a linked, embedded, or opened grayscale image, or even apply a spot color to a drop shadow and be confident that artwork will separate properly when printing.
- Expanded stroke options this enables the user to control the position of a stroke on a path by choosing centered, inside, or outside.
- Text underline and strikethrough users can apply underlining and strikethroughs easily to any line of text, or text element.
- Adobe Photoshop layer comp support from within Illustrator CS2, users can control the visibility of layer comps in linked, embedded or opened Photoshop files.
Graphic and digital artists will also enjoy a smoother ride with Illustrator CS2 due to its control palette that has existing features faster in the context-sensitive Control palette. Accessing selection-based tools from a single location eliminates the need for multiple palettes, thus, simpler and easier.
Custom workspaces allow users to work more efficiently and optimize their screen area. This feature displays only the palettes that the artist will need for a specific task. They can still save, share or access any workspace at any time and have the option of using workspace templates. The Adobe Illustrator CS also has Adobe Bridge to efficiently browse and preview creative assets, run automation scripts, access Adobe Stock Photos, and more. Adobe Illustrator CS2 also enjoys Wacom tablet support that provides pressure-sensitive drawing and erasing. New Intous3 features are also featured in Illustrator like tilt sensitivity.
The updated and enhance Illustrator also has the ability for multipage PDF export, shared PDF presets, Page tile overlap control, Improved Macromedia Flash (SWF) export, mobile content creation, PDF/X Support and nearly universal graphic file format support. These features enable the users to work well with others. Illustrator CS2 also come with bundled fonts from the OpenType fonts that are featured in the entire Adobe Creative Suite 2.
