Drytac's New "Make A Stand" Graphics Kit For Fabrication of "One-Off" Banner Graphics

Richmond, VA ­ In response to requests from small to mid-sized banner stand providers, Drytac has developed a one-off graphics fabrication kit. The Make A Stand Graphic Production Kit is designed to allow graphics producers to print and finish a graphic banner for most standard banner stand units - without purchasing complete rolls of print media and laminate films.

The Make-A Stand Graphics kit includes a 10 ft roll of Drytac's Printable EclipseTM, a 100% opaque white polyester backing film specially engineered to simplify the fabrication of display graphics for banner stands. This 6.0 mil (150 micron) film, which was developed specifically for the banner stand market, is printable on most aqueous thermal and piezo inkjet printers, and features an embedded blackout layer which renders the printed film 100% opaque.

The other component in the Make-A-Stand kit is a 20 ft roll of Drytac EmeryTexTM overlaminate, a 5.0 mil non-glare, scuff-resistant, pressure-sensitive laminating film with a non-glare finish (pressure-sensitive or HeatSet adhesive). Graphics producers can quickly create a two-component banner by printing the image on Printable Eclipse and over-laminating the print with EmeryTex clear film. This proven fabrication method results in a durable graphic that stands up to handling, rolling and shipping and hangs flat and straight.

"Many of our customers don't want to commit to buying an entire roll of material when they only have one banner stand to fabricate for their customer," says Drytac president Marc Oosterhuis. "We think this product will make it easier to manufacture quality graphics without investing in extensive inventory.

The Make-A-Stand kit is available in two widths: 36" wide for smaller banner stand models, and 50" wide for larger unit. Drytac also offers a complete line of banner stands, portable displays, literature stands and specialty exhibits.
