DuPont™ Artistri™ Featured at Largest Global Event for Screen, Digital and Industrial Printing

MUNICH, Germany ­ DuPont displayed the cutting-edge capabilities for digitally printing textiles with their DuPont™ Artistri™ 2020 printer today at the FESPA 2005 trade show in Munich, Germany (Booth 242).

DuPont™ Artistri™ digital printing for textiles consists of three components: the DuPont™ Artistri™ 2020 printer, DuPont™ Artistri™ ink and DuPont™ Artistri™ software. The system is supported by a world-class global service and support team, which provides product, application and consulting services.

The DuPont™ Artistri™ 2020 printer sets a new industry standard for print speed, offering several print modes with speeds exceeding 50 square meters per hour to allow fast production of digital designs. The system and inks are designed for virtually all fiber contents, including: cotton, polyester, cotton-poly, nylon, nylon-Lycra®, silk, wool and blend materials.

DuPont™ Artistri™ inks provide excellent penetration, offering greater color consistency and durability. The inks are available in a wide array of colors covering the four major textile chemistries: acid dye, reactive dye, disperse dye and pigment ink.

Two varieties of DuPont software are available with the system -- DuPont™ Artistri™ software which was designed to meet the needs of customers with traditional separated textile workflows as their major business component and DuPont™ Artistri™ GA software, designed for customers in the graphic arts segment.
