Rahal Letterman Racing and MACtac Announce Indy 500 Partnership

HILLIARD, OH . . . Rahal Letterman Racing, a leading open-wheel racing team in North America, and MACtac, a leading manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesive (self-adhesive) products worldwide, announced today a partnership, which will see MACtac join Rahal Letterman Racing as an associate sponsor for the upcoming Indianapolis 500.

The cornerstone of the partnership will see the logo of MACtac placed on the Rahal Letterman Racing’s #16 Argent Mortgage/Pioneer Honda/Panoz/Firestone entry of rookie sensation Danica Patrick for the 89th running of the Indianapolis 500. MACtac adhesive products will be utilized on all three Rahal Letterman entries.

Danica Patrick will team with 1999 Indy 500 champ Kenny Brack, who is subbing for the injured Buddy Rice, and Vitor Meira to comprise the Rahal Letterman Racing entries at Indianapolis. Patrick qualified fourth, the best every qualifying effort ever for a female driver at Indy, and she has consistently been at the top of the speed charts this May in making her Indianapolis debut.
