Océ Imaging Supplies Appoints DeGroot and Friedman to Marketing Positions
Chicago, IL - Océ (Nasdaq: OCENY), a leader in large format
digital printing solutions, today announced it has appointed Andreas R.
DeGroot to Product Manager, Display Graphics, and Mark S. Friedman to
Marketing Communications Supervisor. Both of these positions report to
Daniel G. Halkyard, Director of Marketing for Océ Imaging Supplies, based in
Coventry, RI.
Andreas R. DeGroot
As Product Manager, Display Graphics, Andreas DeGroot, 34, is responsible
for developing and implementing strategic product programs to support the
growth of Océ Imaging Supplies in the Display Graphics market. Mr. DeGroot
previously held successive positions in process engineering and project
management within the Océ Imaging Supplies organization. In his most recent
position he was responsible for daily operations of coating lines, and
implementing processes to achieve greater efficiencies. Before Océ, Mr.
DeGroot served as a process engineer for Boise Cascade. He holds a
bachelor¹s degree in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute in Troy, NY, and a master¹s degree in chemical engineering from
McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Mark S. Friedman
As Marketing Communications Supervisor, Mark Friedman, 30, is responsible
for the creation and execution of all communications programs for Océ
Imaging Supplies. Mr. Friedman came to Océ Imaging Supplies from Goodrich
Corporation, Engineered Polymer Products Division, where he was a Business
Development Manager in charge of various publications, marketing materials
and creative services for presentations, trade shows, corporate videos and
events. Prior to Goodrich, he served as Director of Graphic Services at LK
Industries, a turnkey supplier to major retail brands. Before that, Mr.
Friedman was the Print Production Manager at Digital Prep, a digital
production company specializing in high-end print production. He also has
hands-on experience in digital printing, having served as the Digital
Operations Manager for Media Works, a large format print provider in
Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Friedman holds a bachelor¹s degree in American
culture from the University of Michigan.
