Oracal USA Announces New Translucent High Performance Film

Jacksonville, FL - ­ Oracal USA is pleased to announce the introduction of Series 8500F Translucent High Performance Film.

Series 8500F translucent film is a 7-year, 3-mil film, and is available in 55 luminous colors. Intended for long-term use on internally illuminated or backlit signs, Series 8500F film features a clear, permanent, solvent-based adhesive and a 3.75-mil clear, synthetic (polyester) liner for superior handling and precision registration. In addition, this thermal transfer-compatible film offers a silk-matte finish to inhibit undesired reflection and provide excellent day/night color consistency.

Ideal for large wet or dry installations associated with backlit signs on rigid, thermoformed or flexible substrates, ORACAL Series 8500F film has been engineered for optimal plotter performance. Always splice-free, this film is available in 48-inch-wide, 10-yard and 50-yard-long rolls.
