BTV+ Selected for New $40 Million Digital Signage Network
Digital Signage Network provided by BTV+ to Deliver Ads, Distance Learning and Sponsored Content in 3600 Sporting and Retail Locations
Mississauga, Ontario- BTV+ (www.btvplus.com) a recognized leader in Digital Signage, Distance Learning and Business Collaboration networks has been selected to supply and operate all elements of a state-of-the-art, Digital Signage out-of-home network. The multi-year contract is valued in excess of $40 million and will serve over 3600 sporting and retail locations.
BTV+ will provide all technology elements including display and playout hardware, content control software, satellite connectivity, installation, network operations and help desk.
The Digital Signage network will allow advertising, promotional messages and distance learning content to be displayed on individual, groups or all displays. Individual locations have the ability to provide content for local display in pre-determined areas of the multi-region display. Feeds such as news, weather, scores, alerts, etc can be provided. Features enabling security, minimal operating costs, compliance/audit reporting, high reliability, the addition of displays and connectivity to other on-location systems (i.e. networks, POS, audio, etc.) are included.
Each location will be equipped to handle radio frequency identification (RFID) triggering of display images which BTV+ has pioneered for retail, point-of-purchase merchandising, and other methods of display triggering.
The client includes Silicon Valley and sporting industry executives. Over 300 firms have expressed interest in advertising on the network which will reach a large, highly desirable demographic. Sporting associations and endemic suppliers expect to use the digital signage network for distance learning.
