Minicom appoints regional sales manager for UK & Ireland

Zurich, Switzerland - Minicom Advanced Systems, a leading innovator and manufacturer of KVM switches and remote access technologies for IT infrastructure management, announced today that it has appointed Paul Smith as the regional sales manager of the UK and Ireland.

Paul has 15 years experience selling and marketing hardware and software to the IT market. Paul has degrees in Marine Law & Navigation and has undergone extensive training in sales, marketing, and public relations.

Among his previous positions, Paul also worked as the Marketing Manager for Panasonic UK, the European & International Sales Manager of a UK Driver Manufacturer, and Sales Manager of Northern Europe for Sterling Commerce.

Paul will be representing Minicom and meeting channel partners at next month’s CeBit in Hannover, Germany.
