Sign Supply USA purchases Royal Sign Supply

Sign Supply USA, a leading supplier of consumables and digital imaging products to the sign industry, announces the acquisition of Royal Sign Supply. Royal Sign Supply is headquartered in Denver, Colorado and has branch locations in Tampa, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Saddle Brook, New Jersey; Cleveland, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; Dallas, Texas and Los Angeles, California.

Sign Supply will absorb some of the Royal locations into existing Sign Supply branches. Others will become stand-alone Sign Supply USA branches. When the transition is complete, Sign Supply will have fourteen locations.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Adding Royal to Sign Supply USA dramatically increases our geographic presence. The Royal locations will add Sign Supply’s broad offering of digital imaging ink, media and equipment lines. We will become a more complete vendor to Royal’s existing customers. The Sign Supply locations will add the quick turnaround custom sewn banner blanks offering a new growth opportunity and increased market share.”

Sign Supply and Royal share many common vendors such as Avery Graphics, R Tape and Coroplast. Product lines from many of Sign Supply’s leading digital product vendors such as Intelicoat and Oracal will be added to Royal’s product offering. These product additions offer a tremendous growth opportunity for the existing Royal branches.

Most existing Royal employees will become employees of Sign Supply USA. Christina Tucker, Royal’s Chief Operating Officer, will join Sign Supply as General Manger overseeing the Cleveland, Chicago, Denver, Dallas and Los Angeles locations.

Sign Supply will phase out the Royal Sign Supply name. The company’s logos, letterhead, catalogues etc. will be changed from the Royal name to the Sign Supply name during the upcoming months.
