ISA Members Participate In Study Mission To Explore The Signs Of Turkey
Alexandria, VA - This week, over a dozen members of the International Sign Association (ISA) are participating in an International Study Mission to Istanbul, Turkey, where they are learning about the sign industry from a Turkish perspective.
Spanning from May 20-27, the 2006 Study Mission includes tours of several Turkish sign companies and suppliers as well as world famous palaces, mosques, and bazaars.
“While education is the primary purpose of ISA's study mission, sightseeing opportunities abound in Turkey, said Sapna Budev, ISA’s International Relations Manager. “The Turkish people have an unrivaled reputation for hospitality, exotic cuisine and a picturesque coastline.”
Among the Turkish sign companies and suppliers, participants will visit Nova Sign Co., Penta Sign Co., and Mat Group in Istanbul, as well as Say Sign Co., ORES Display Systems, and Idem Neon Co., in Izmir. Some of the sightseeing highlights will include the Istanbul Spice Market, Ayasofya Church, Sultanahmet Mosque, Dolmabahce Palace, Akmerkez, Topkapi Palace, Suleymaniye Mosque, Yerebatan Water Reservoir, and a yacht ride on the Bosphorus.
