Three Distinguished Speakers Luncheons Announced For MEGATEX Trade Show in Atlanta, GA
Roseville, Minn. - Three leading textile industry experts have been selected to present their findings at a special luncheon series held during MEGATEX, the exciting mega-combination of the Industrial Fabrics Association International’s IFAI Expo 2006 and the American Textile Machinery Association’s ATME-I 2006. MEGATEX is being held October 31-November 3 in Atlanta.
Scheduled to speak
- Tuesday, Oct. 21: Herwig M. Strolz Director General, International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF). Topic: “The Global Textile Industry 30 Years of Investment Monitoring.”
- Wednesday, Nov. 1: Frank J. Horn President, Fiber Economics Bureau, a division of the American Fiber Manufacturers Association (AFMA). Topic: “The State of the Manufactured Fiber Industry.”
- Thursday, Nov. 2: Peter Kilduff Chair of the Apparel Merchandising and Management Department, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Topic: “Business Environment, Competitive Strategies, Supply Chain Structure and Business Performance in the U.S. Industrial Textile Industry.”
This important united trade event has captured the enthusiastic approval of the textile industry, offering nearly 1,000 exhibits and attracting an estimated 15,000 attendees and participants. Each show remains independent but is produced in side-by-side halls at the world-class facilities of the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Once registered, exhibitors and visitors will enjoy free movement between shows.
The combined event has also captured the endorsement of the US Department of Commerce, which has recognized MEGATEX with the “International Buyer Program” designation as one of the top international buying events in 2006.
