New Comfort Shears Now Available From Astrup

Two new options in shears are now available from The Astrup Company. Home and Craft Scissors and Shop Shears have been added to Astrup’s hardware products line to provide fabricators with comfort and reliability.

The Wiss® brand Home and Craft Scissors are 8-1/2 inches long and made of lightweight, heavy-duty stainless steel. The scissors have comfort soft grips with an oversized high leverage bottom ring. An adjustable pivot allows for fine-tuning to obtain the most comfortable setting. The blades are corrosion resistant and perfect for cutting paper, fabric, cardboard and more.

Slightly longer at 10 inches, the Wiss brand Shop Shear is also made of lightweight, heavy-duty stainless steel. With high leverage comfort grips for either right- or left-handed use, the shears are perfect for cutting cardboard, industrial fabrics, upholstery, rubber, screen, leather and more. The blades are corrosion resistant with a serrated lower blade that grips materials securely to ensure even cutting. It also has a handy notch for faster, easier rope and twine cutting.
