The new PrismJET Spitfire is the most advanced model to date featuring four eight-channel Dynamic Variable Dot piezo print heads and a patented Wave print technology that applies ink in overlapping passes in a wave pattern. This breakthrough innovation eliminates the banding problems that plague thermal resin and other piezo inkjet printers. In addition to outstanding print quality, the Spitfire offers superior production speeds. The Spitfire firmware is designed around the varied needs of sign and print shops and includes 10 different print modes optimized to meet the demands of differing customers. The options vary not only resolution but the interweaving of the Wave print patterns to offer unprecedented levels of flexibility and productivity. Large and Grand Format Ecosolvent
The Spitfire comes in two sizes. Both use Mutoh EcoSolvent Ultra inks which emit no VOC’s so they are safe for use in standard office environments without the need for ventilation or air purification systems. The PrismJET Spitfire 65 is a large format printer that accepts up to 65” media and prints up to of 64” wide. The suggested retail price includes FlexiPRO 8 graphic design and RIP software, a heavy duty take up system for 220lb media rolls, a one year on-site warranty, and on-site setup and installation.
The PrismJET Spitfire 90 is SIGNWarehouse’s first serious foray into the grand format market. The Spitfire 90 accepts up to 89” media and prints up to of 88” wide.
