SGIA '07 Speaker Peter Ebner Teaches Profit-Building Strategies - Print sales guru offers field-tested solutions for prospecting, pricing orders

Fairfax, Virginia -- After 25 years of training more than 60,000 salespeople in the printing industry, SGIA '07 Speaker Peter Ebner knows effective marketing skills aren't intuitive; they're learned and perfected over years of implementation.

"These precise steps don't come naturally to even the most charismatic sales representative," Ebner said, adding, "That's why I'll cover the top two strategies specialty imagers should know at my sessions at SGIA '07 (Orlando, Florida; October 24-27, 2007)." http://www.sgia.org/events/current_expo/sgia07/index_attend.cfm

Ebner will lead two lively educational sessions: "Stop Losing Jobs to Lower Prices" (Friday, October 26; 11:00 am-12:15 pm) and "Prospecting Skills that Land Hundreds of New Accounts" (Friday, October 26; 2:00 pm-3:15 pm).

The sessions will provide fresh and focused approaches to prospecting for new clients and quoting orders that beat out lower prices -- some of the biggest challenges specialty imagers face in today's economic environment. "These solutions will help sales departments as well as owners and managers," Ebner said.

A veteran in the printing industry, Ebner has written more than 12 books on print sales strategies and trained sales teams at Fortune 500 companies. His recent SGIA Webinar, Breaking the Print Sales Barrier (May 23), attracted the largest audience to date for the popular Webinar series.

"It was a great refresher course for our sales representatives," said Webinar attendee Jim Sullivan, President and CEO of SGIA member Brandboxx (McFarland, Wisconsin). "Peter's presentation was clear, concise and practical -- with no smoke and mirrors."
