El Paso FASTSIGNS® Installs New Printer First of its Kind Installed in the World
As technology evolves in the sign and graphics industry, small-business owners, such as Virginia and Kerry King, owners of the El Paso, TX FASTSIGNS® sign and graphics center on Airway Blvd., must stay on-top of the latest innovations by investing in equipment that will meet the evolving needs of her customers. Their center is now home to the first Legend 72HUV hybrid flatbed printer to be commercially installed in the world.
Every year brings new advances in technology, introducing a variety of printers and sign-making equipment that produce projects faster, more accurately and affordably. Researching equipment on the market, the Kings found that printers were either too expensive for her budget or did not accomplish what she felt they needed to. When they discovered the new Legend 72HUV, they knew it was a perfect fit for the center and the wide variety of signs it produces.
“I felt that making this type of purchase was the next step for growing my business,” said Virginia King, who opened the center in 1992. “The sign climate is constantly changing and a good business person must keep up and ahead of the changes particularly in technology. By adapting and staying informed on technology trends we are able to provide a more cost-effective product to our customers without sacrificing quality.”
The Legend 72HUV flatbed printer will print banners up to 6 feet wide as long as well as flat signs up to 1 inch thick and weighing a couple of hundred pounds. Photo-quality images are produced with vivid color and amazing accuracy. The Legend will bring the ability to do a larger quantity of signs at a better price to the Kings’ customers. “We will be able to do full color signs, even with a picture at a less cost than a screen printer can do for 2 color signs,” says Virginia of the printer’s capabilities.
“We want to make sign buying simple for our customers,” continues Virginia. “And now we can accommodate every one of our customers’ needs. Our cutting-edge technology ensures consistent quality for every sign project, from start to finish.”
The El Paso FASTSIGNS offers consulting, design, production, file transfer, delivery, installation for a full range of custom sign and graphic products, including wide format banners and POP, site signs, exhibit graphics, window and vehicle graphics, decals and labels, safety and identification signage and floor graphics for interior and exterior use.
For more information, the center, located at 1201 Airway Blvd., Suite D3, can be reached via phone at 915-772-5700 or online at www.fastsigns.com/144.
