The European Digital Press Association bestows awards to Gandinnovations for ‘Best Wide Format Indoor Inks’ and ‘Best Textile Printer of the Year’.
Mississauga, Ontario, Canada - Gandinnovations, a world leader in grand format digital printer innovation announced that its Jeti3324 Aquajet prevailed as the leader in the 2008 “Best Textile Printer of the Year,” earning accolades from The European Digital Press Association (EDP) Industry Awards Committee.
Gandinnovations, renowned for its production of high performance printers, also won top honors for “Best Wide Format Indoor Inks” for the company’s GUV White Inks. “These two prestigious awards validate our continuous emphasis on excellence, technology and performance,” says James Gandy, president of Gandinnovations.
The EDP is an association for the burgeoning digital print industry. It was established by seven of Europe’s leading digital print magazines representing a combined readership of 80,000 professionals. Only the very best and innovative products were considered, according to EDP, and recognition given to products signifies the utmost quality to professionals and end-users.
“Our specially formulated white ink features a unique chemistry that imparts excellent adhesion, flexibility and outdoor durability; it achieves a brilliant white without shadow effects,” adds Hary Gandy, president of worldwide sales for Gandinnovations. “The Jeti Aquajet prints direct to fabric and achieves bold, vibrant, solid colors. It’s versatility and production output makes it a valuable asset to print shop owners.”
The Jeti3324 Aquajet Direct to Fabric designed specifically with textile print shops in mind
"It's a perfect marriage of conventional textile printing needs and innovative digital convenience," adds James Gandy. Sturdy Jeti printer construction ensures maximum performance and reliability in a 24-7 production environment. With the Jeti3324 Aquajet textile print shop can meet its full potential of heavy production demands at a lower cost while producing high quality images at greater speeds.”
Printing direct to polyester fabrics is easy with the Jeti3324 Aquajet and the results are bright colors second to none. Not only are the water-based Aqueous Inks, formulated by Gandinnovations, environmentally friendly, they also deliver vivid and durable graphic images.
Reliable jetting performance is a must for any printing business. Aqueous Inks when used in combination with the Jeti3324 Aquajet create the ultimate colors that are brilliant, fade resistant, and images burst to life from a full range of fabrics flag, banner, and textile materials, almost anything on which it’s printed.
“You have to see it print to believe it. The quality and speed is amazing! The Jeti3324 Aquajet is designed to optimize workload of industrial textile printing environments, and our unique enhancements put this printer in a league of it own,” exclaims Hary Gandy.
GUV White Inks Stable and Opaque
Gandinnovations’ high density UV curable white ink allows printing on a variety of colored, rigid substrates and achieves a brilliant white in a single strike without any shadow effect. This new white also has much better adhesion to rigid materials including corrugated plastic, styrene, PVC, acrylic and even other exotic substrates like metals, leather, brown cardboard stock and many more.
Additionally, the GUV (Gandi UV) white ink can be used as a “spot” color to bring into focus certain parts of an image printed on colored substrates and even on transparent media.
This specially formulated white ink developed by Gandinnovations features a unique chemistry that imparts excellent adhesion, flexibility and outdoor durability. The proprietary manufacturing process and additives used to produce this UV white ink makes it possible to disperse more pigment into the formula while still keeping a stable sub-micron white ink suspension. This means that it is now possible to achieve greater opacity with less amounts of ink laid down with a single strike of ink, where competitive UV curable white inks usually require more ink laid down.
Many Jeti Printers produce at speeds far outmatching anything else on the market, making it possible for high quantity production with multiple image changes, giving printers the ability to turn around normally higher-cost projects at traditional screen printing and conventional printing press prices.
