Gelberg Signs Gears Up for Inaugural EagleBank Bowl Game; D.C. Company Wins Contract to Produce Game Day Signage
Washington, D.C. - Gelberg Signs today announced that is has been selected as the official sign fabricator for the first annual EagleBank Bowl, set to take place at RFK Stadium this Saturday, December 20.
Gelberg Signs will be responsible for all graphic images in and around the stadium. The company is currently in the fabrication stage of the project.
The EagleBank Bowl, with Bethesda, Maryland-based EagleBank serving as title sponsor, is the first NCAA-sanctioned bowl game ever to take place in Washington, D.C., and also kicks off the college football post-season lineup. A focus of this historic event is to honor the sacrifices made by all those who serve our country.
The D.C.-based sign company, family-owned with a local history dating back to 1941, is no stranger to producing sports and stadium signage. In 2007, the company produced close to 3,000 signs for Nationals Stadium. They have also managed stadium signage for Fed Ex Field, RFK Stadium and Byrd Stadium, at the University of Maryland.
“We are honored to have been chosen as a vendor for the first annual EagleBank Bowl,” said Luc Brami, principal of Gelberg Signs, along with his brothers Guy and Neil Brami. “We look forward to watching and helping build this exciting new Bowl game into an annual Washington tradition.”
This year’s inaugural EagleBank Bowl will feature the U.S. Naval Academy and Wake Forest University. The game will take place on Saturday, December 20, at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. To learn more or to purchase tickets, please visit www.eaglebankbowl.org.
“Gelberg Signs is a shining example of how local business owners and their employees can really support the communities in which they work and live,” added Steve Beck, Executive Director of the EagleBank Bowl. “We are pleased to be working with Gelberg Signs on this project and we look forward to showcasing their signs at this inaugural bowl game.”
