And the winners are…
Tyrone, Georgia—Peachtree City Foamcraft, the largest wholesale manufacturer of Foamcore monument signs and innovator of the product, introduced a monument sign contest asking sign shops to submit their best photos of monument signs designed with municipalities in mind for a chance to win up to $500.00 cash.

The competition drew over 50 design submissions and was judged by Peachtree City Foamcraft’s fabrication team in Tyrone, GA who weighed in on each individual submission in terms of its overall appearance and effectiveness as a communication medium for municipalities. “The guys had a tough time choosing the winners; there were so many beautiful signs that were entered into the competition.” Katie Schwartz, Marketing Coordinator continued “It was all worth it in the end when we were able to call the winner.”

Jerry Oxley, President of Signs By Jerry took the prize with his entry, Welcome to Ball. “You’ve made my day!” an excited Jerry Oxley proclaimed when he learned of his victory. Jerry and his wife run a small sign shop in Louisiana and were motivated to enter the competition after a suggestion by a member of Peachtree’s staff. “Peachtree’s product has made it possible for us to complete large jobs like this, I am going to take the cash and do something for myself.”

Kara Lindsey, Lead Designer for Dalton Signs was pleased with second place, her entry Kingsland Welcome Center. Third place was a tough call for the judges, who settled on a tie in the end Clear Brook City by Mark Roberts and Village of Hampshire designed by Michael Armato of Sign A Rama Carpentersville, IL took the honors.
