New Product Introduction: PrimeDesignboard - Primed HDU

Jasper Plastics has been very busy the past several years, not only working on ways to make their Design Board HDU the best valued board in the industry, but now it stands in a class of its own.

Sam Korenstra, president of Jasper Plastics stated that the launching of our new PrimeDesignBoard is of the same scale as launching our first board several decades ago, putting new technology to work that provides greater value to the customer. HDU has so many advantages over most other substrates such as: great for carving, sand blasting, and routing. Never rots. Never attracts insects while keeping our precious Redwood forests intact.

New PrimeDesignBoard comes factory primed saving the sign dealer hours and hours of prep time before fabrication. According to Lou Seitz VP of product development, this product has a superior finish quality that most sign companies cannot match. This product may well obsolete the 18# density product says Seitz. The manufacturing process for the primed product is unique across the HDU industry; giving us the opportunity to create a product never before available and only by Jasper Plastics. This product should be a “game changer” according to Korenstra. The trial program showed great demand for the primed sheets; reducing the sign makers overall costs, increasing shop throughput, and improving quality.

PrimeDesignBoard will be available through professional sign supply distributors carrying the current Design Board product line. The sheets will come in 1”, 1.5”, and 2” inch 4’x8’ sheets in 15# density primed on one face, 2” will also be available primed on both sides.
