FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Trophex 2011- a date for your diary!

The show will take place from 16th to 17th January 2011 at the NEC Pavilion in Birmingham, UK

Attending the Trophex exhibition is always an important way to start the year if you are in the trophy, awards and engraving industry. It is used by an increasing number of companies outside of the immediate remit to access a new and exciting potential client base. Trophex boasts a vast array of regular and new exhibitors every year and is always a very popular show for both visitors and exhibitors alike ≠ and 2010 was no exception!

There were a number of companies at the show representing the trophy industry including Glenway whose stand took centre stage. Perfectly designed so that visitors could see a vast variety of awards all at eye level, this year Glenway were showing their new products which were very well received. Customers loved their new ranges especially the awards brochure which is priced with engraving. The 'Mighty Medal' also proved very popular. This impressive medal is designed with a metal strut that folds flat, allowing the medal to stand up on its own if required.

Trophex 2010 also proved to be another great show for the SDL Group Ltd. The company was showing their vast and impressive range of trophies, medals and awards as well as a selection of their Surridge Sports range. The company surprised everyone by generously giving a visitor to the show another opportunity to win a 50% discount throughout 2010 by re-opening their competition.

Regular exhibitor Goodwill Trophy Company had another excellent Trophex show. Their sales team was on hand to advise customers who had visited their stand to see the impressive range from their 2010 'Trophies for Titles' catalogue. Special show packs were also on offer for their customers store display requirements.

Other sectors of the industry also represented at the show included lasers and engraving. Gravograph used the show to launch the new LS100 Ex Yag. This remarkable machine engraves fine text, logos and photos at speeds of up to 2.5m/sec. Its generous 610 x 305mm (24 x 12 in) table is ideal for marking a series of both large and small objects and matrices. The machine is ideal for gifts, jewellery, photos, trophies, awards, tankards, industrial parts and identification plates. The show created a lot of interest for Gravograph. They were really pleased with the response that they received - they had more requests than they could keep up with!

Identify were showing their usual mix of high quality products from machines to materials. The company were also offering some great finance deals and product packages designed to save money and increase productivity. The show proved very successful for them. Stephen Jater, Managing Director commented: "Trophex 2010 has really inspired us. It's been good to see that some people have decided to get on with things and spend some money."

As always Trophex was very well attended with visitors coming from all over the world. Joe Stokes from Engrave UK in Milton Keynes sells personalised gifts and trophies on-line. He visits Trophex every year to look for new suppliers, get better deals and find out about new innovations and products on the market. Andrea Toastivine from Soles of Emsworth in Hampshire was a first time visitor to Trophex and was very impressed with the show, she commented: "This is my first time at Trophex and it's been it very interesting. I've found products which I didn't even know existed and will enable me to expand my business."

John Hayes from Howfen Graphics in Bolton was also a first time visitor to Trophex, he thought the show was a nice size and was able to find everything he wanted. When reflecting on the show he said: "Visiting Trophex has allowed me to find different companies who we can now work with which will benefit our company. I've been able to make new contacts, see demonstrations and talk to people face-to-face."
