Can you really afford not to be at Trophex 2013?

Back in January the Trophex exhibition took place at the NEC, Birmingham. The show was a great success with numbers up 20% on previous years and visitors from as far and wide as Kenya, the USA and Estonia. Crowds of people came through the door, isles and stands were packed with eager visitors trying to be the first to see the new seasons awards, new machines and new products which exhibitors had to offer.

Trophex is the only major show in the UK devoted to the trophy, awards and engraving industry. The show has a good balance of exhibitors who represent the industry, some exhibit year after year and for some it was their first time. Regular exhibitor Glenway Products Ltd had another great show. They were delighted with their stand which had a new layout for 2012 and showed their products in a new light. Andrew Sharp, Managing Director said: “We were really pleased with the turnout again this year. Our new Xplode range has gone down very well with visitors.” Sharing the Glenway stand for a second year was Victory from the USA. Eric Priceman, Victory's vice president was happy with the results: "I see a lot of positives from Trophex. It seemed like traffic was up this year and customers were in more of a buying mood than in recent years. Glenway is our main distributor in the UK and it was nice to see their customers take a genuine interest in the product range."

Sponsors of the Trophex Awards and regular exhibitor to the show were Crystal Galleries who had three generations on their stand! They were showing awards, their stem wear products and sandblasting equipment. Once again Trophex was an excellent show for them. Says Jeremy Lowes, Managing Director: “The quality of customers was good with people taking a genuine interest in our products and sandblasting machines. We had a lot of new customers visit our stand many of which were foreign – we even sold a system to a customer in Beirut! We were very busy throughout the exhibition and even ran out of brochure packs – something we’ve never done before!”

Visitors to the show included Bob and Steve Chapman from Robert Chapman Presentations & Awards in Sutton Coldfield who visit Trophex every year, when reflecting on the 2012 show they said: “Trophex is a buoyant, lively and busy show which is well laid out. We visit the show every year to keep up-to-date with what’s out there, to study market changes and to look at any advances in technology particularly in engraving – the tools of the trade.” They continued: “Trophex is a great day out for us where we can meet with both old and new suppliers to discuss our business. If you don’t come to the show, you don’t have access to this information.”

Trophex 2013 will take place from 13th to 14th January 2013 at the NEC Pavilion in Birmingham, UK. The show is free to attend. You can even avoid the queues by pre-registering today on-line at: www.trophex.com.
