Sign Biz® Members are Building on Family Values

Since opening their doors to the Athens community late in 2007 as the newest entrepreneurial venture in the Sign Biz Network, The Sign Brothers (Michael & Justin Seibert) have developed a successful and growing business. In fact, their growth even outpaced their vision, and they ran out of room! As a result, they have recently moved into a new, larger location in front of the Georgia Square Mall om Athens, GA.

New 5000-square-foot building reflects more than 300% increase in space. The new building expands their operation from 1,500 square feet to over 5,000 square feet, which provides the necessary room to keep up with growing product demand, and allows production facilities for new services to add to their already broad offerings.

"Much of our success can be attributed to our hard-working, honest, and friendly employees, and also the great relationships we've built over the last 5 years with local leaders & entrepreneurs including the Sign Biz Network. The Sign Brothers customer base has been local small businesses & local organizations. Our service area is about a one-hour radius from our shop, mainly focusing on Athens-Clarke County & Oconee County businesses,” says co-owner Michael Seibert.

“Michael and Justin have been consummate professionals, and find time to give back to their communities and the Sign Biz family. While getting married, having babies, and building a business, they manage to help at our annual conventions, and share their secrets to success, taking on the role of Advisory Board members as well,” added Teresa M. Young, president of Sign Biz, Inc., founder of the worldwide Sign Biz Network of independently owned digital sign & graphics businesses.

"The Seibert brothers were honored at this year's annual Sign Biz convention in Orlando, Florida for achieving significant milestones in revenue - all within a year's time. They earned not only the Half-Million-Dollar Milestone, but exploded into the next Milestone and entered the $750K Club for annual revenues exceeding $750,000," explains Young. "The space was needed, to accommodate all of this production."

Our larger space gives us the room to add a CNC Router into the mix, which gives us the ability to get a lot more creative with the type of signs we can design & produce, including in-house manufacturing of ADA signage", says Seibert.

The Sign Brothers (yes, they are real brothers) are excited for the future and eager to continue offering the same service that brought their success over the past five years. As Michael tells us, "In the future, we plan on continuing our growth in the Athens area, as well as expanding our services into other markets in Northeast Georgia. Justin & I were raised in a great family environment. We have different skill sets that compliment each other in the sign business. And although we're different in many ways, we both were raised to treat people fairly, with honesty, quality, and friendliness at the root of the customer experience at The Sign Brothers."
