Don’t miss the new look Trophex show!

Once again the annual Trophex show will take place from 19th to 20th January at the NEC, Birmingham. Visiting the show is really a must if you work in the trophy, awards and personalisation industry. It’s THE show for the industry with every possible sector represented.

Visiting Trophex will help you to diversify and grow your business. Look for new suppliers and get better deals, find out about new innovations and products on the market. Find products that you never knew existed! Visitors can discuss queries face-to-face allowing them to take home valuable information and use it in their business. Come along to the show and see all the latest engraving machinery in action via demonstrations, see the latest trends for the coming season and take advantage of any special offers that exhibitors will be offering exclusively to Trophex visitors.

Due to popular demand visitors will once again have the opportunity to vote in the Trophex Awards! Winners from Trophex 2013 included Transworld Trophies who won the award for ‘Best Engravable Product’. On receiving the award at this year’s show, Tony Ellis, Managing Director said: “We spend a lot of time and money developing new products. The new Nickel Cup range is no exception - taking two years to design and produce. It is nice when our efforts are acknowledged.”

The 2014 exhibition promises to be even bigger and better than before as the show includes some major new innovations designed to enhance the visitor experience. These include the Industry Awareness Zone and the Knowledge Centre. A series of seminars will take place over the course of the exhibition at the Industry Awareness Zone, offering visitors technical information and advice on a variety of subjects related to the industry. At the Knowledge Centre experts will be present from within the industry to give visitors advice, support, answer questions and solve problems.

A number of companies have already signed up to be a part of these new and exciting areas at next year’s show including Sawgrass Europe. Simon Wilcox, Head of Marketing at the company will be running two seminars entitled: ‘Diversification – adding digital decoration to a trophy & engraving business’ and ‘Pricing – the true cost of digital printing and pricing for profits.’ Sawgrass will also be on hand to answer queries on sublimation printing at the Knowledge Centre.

Another seminar speaker will be Carlos Sousa from Rowmark; he will be discussing the art of maximising your profits in sign-making. Turn the ordinary into the extraordinary and learn how you can add creativity to your signage projects quickly and easily to exponentially increase profits. Get an in-depth look at how engravable substrates and sign making materials can be mixed and matched to make the difference between a ‘plain’ sign and an exciting, attractive, money making design.

The Corel team will be running a series of workshops on how to make the most of CorelDRAW® Graphics Suite when used as part of your engraving workflow. They will also be part of the event’s Knowledge Centre where their product specialist will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions that visitors may have about the Corel portfolio, be it for engraving, embroidery or sign making.

Learn how to add digital printing workflow to your business with I-Sub Digital. From the basics of integrating digital print into your workflow, such as evaluating and sourcing equipment and where to install it, right through to maximising your investment and finding new markets, I-Sub Digital will talk you through the first steps to making the most of digital print technology. The company will also be on hand at the Knowledge Centre to offer advice on investing in wide format printing technology; how it can be incorporated into existing workflows and how best to choose the right equipment for your business.
