FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 5, 2013

Trophex 2014 opens its doors next month

Trophex is fast approaching, opening to the public on Sunday 19th and Monday 20th January 2014. If you work in the trophy, awards or personalisation industry it is the only show to attend and a great way to start the year. Pick up the newly launched 2014 catalogues, see new trends for the coming season, find new suppliers, talk to people face-to-face, watch live demonstrations, learn about new products and look for new ideas and opportunities to stay one step ahead of your competitors in 2014.

The 2014 exhibition promises to be even bigger and better than before as the show includes some major new innovations designed to enhance the visitor experience. These include the Industry Awareness Zone and the Knowledge Centre. A series of seminars will take place over the course of the exhibition at the Industry Awareness Zone, offering visitors technical information and advice on a variety of subjects related to the industry. At the Knowledge Centre experts will be present from within the industry to give visitors advice, support, answer questions and solve problems. Register for the show and for these exciting new seminars at www.trophex.com.

As always the show will see an array of regular and new exhibitors including Crystal Galleries, who also sponsor the Trophex Awards at the exhibition. The company will have a selection of exciting new glass and crystal products on display at Trophex 2014. As well as showing glass and crystal gifts and awards, they will also be demonstrating sandblast engraving techniques on their trophy master engraving cabinet. They will also be demonstrating how to produce in-house engraving masks using the full range of APM films for which they are exclusive UK distributors. Gravograph will be officially launching several new products in both laser and mechanical engraving technologies at the show including its largest laser to date: the impressive LS1000XP C02 laser. At the other end of the scale a new version of Gravograph’s Energy8 budget laser will also be demonstrated. The Energy8 represents the ideal entry-level laser with a budget price but supplied as standard with Gravograph build quality and support. Metal marking lasers will equally feature on the stand with the latest LS100EX-Fibre; a metal marking system that can also laser engrave laminate. I-Sub Digital will be showcasing the latest digi-foil application on the Mimaki UJF desktop UV printer at Trophex 2014. Applying traditional foils onto a wide range of products using the Mimaki UJF UV inkjet printer produces amazing results, identical to the normal hot and cold foil processes alongside the machines CMYK, white and varnish ink set. Also on show will be the Mimaki CJV solvent printer, demonstrating high quality imaging onto a range of substrates utilising Mimaki solvent based CMYKLCLM, white and silver inks. This offers amazing silvers, golds and many other metallic finishes. New exhibitors to the show includes Sculpture Designer, the company is a cooperative of crystal workers who manufacture awards, trophies, desktop and presentation gifts made from glass, marble, basalt and granite. Each piece is approved by your clients before manufacture. Each piece is manufactured by hand, engraved to your client’s requirements and then presented in a customisable satin lined, wooden gift box. Examples of all these products will be on show at Trophex. The Glass Scribe will be exhibiting at Trophex for the first time with U.S. suppliers Rayzist.
