Minicom Appoints Ingram Micro as its Distributor in Germany

Minicom Advanced Systems, the world leader in �last mile� digital signage distribution systems, has formed a strategic alliance with Ingram Micro EMEA, a division of Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM), the world�s largest technology distributor to distribute its digital signage products in Germany. The move fits in with Ingram Micro�s plan to position itself as the leader in the booming digital signage market by providing an end-to-end package using products from market leaders such as Minicom, BroadSign and Philips. Ingram Micro intends thereby to provide a one-stop digital signage solution to the SMB market. The four company partnership is to be launched this week at Ingram Micro�s booth at the Digital Signage Expo in Essen, Germany (booth 15A.15).
