Shopping For Price
When purchasing materials for a specific project, many sign shop owners spend a great deal of time shopping for the lowest priced supplies in order to make the highest profit from the job. Some spend hours calling every supplier they can find, and finding the lowest price may have saved them a few dollars, sometimes even pennies. Remember when shopping for materials that it is not always important to find the lowest price, but the best quality product you can buy for your money. Using higher quality materials will better ensure repeat business after the client’s job is complete. Saving a few dollars here and there may seem to add up to a larger amount, but the time you spend calling 5 or more different suppliers is even more valuable than the 50 cents you may have saved. Find one or two main suppliers that offer a wide range of quality products. You will establish a more comfortable, secure working relationship with your supplier and they will genuinely appreciate your business. One-stop shopping will save you time, headaches, and money.
