Background colors for indoor display signs.
I have found that the blending of two or several colors to the foundation of a sign makes a powerful difference. For example using two hues of green (Forest and med green) and Almond makes for a conservative look. Have the spray cans shaken and "spray" ready. Place the sign blank or foam board on a flat surface. Start on the legnth side and begin to spray with the dark color about 12 inches away moving toward the center of the surface. Turn the board and take the med. green and spray from 3/4 of the way into the dark green moving a little distance away. The final color from the edge of the sign into the med. green moving away allowing the green to be seen. It may take a few attempts till the desired effect is had. I been using this technique for many years. I used this on some huge letters on an outdoor sign for an airbrushed look with great success. Try it, you'll like it!
