Does Your Vinyl Grow?
During the humid summer months, your vinyl may grow, affecting color-to-color and print to cut registration! This occurs when the paper backing is exposed to the moisture in the humid air. Follow these simple steps to "normalize" your vinyl during humid conditions to help improve color-to-color and print-to-cut registration:
- Roll off the length of vinyl that is required for the job.
- Wait 20 minutes.
- The paper backing and vinyl will grow before your start printing instead of during printing.
